The Level 2 Safeguarding Adults and Children at Risk, regulated by Ofqual, is an accredited qualification for those working around ‘at risk’ adults and children who require a detailed knowledge of how to safeguard them from harm.
Our online course and assessment is designed for those working in, or preparing to work in, a setting where they have a duty of care to children and young people or vulnerable adults. This important qualification enables public service interpreters working in settings like hospitals and social care to make a positive difference to the lives of those at they are working on behalf of.
There are no formal entry requirements and the user-friendly course and assessment can be taken by anyone over the age of 16.
Our Level 2 Safeguarding Adults and Children Risk online course provides the knowledge and understanding necessary to ensure that those they are working with are protected from abuse, exploitation, and radicalisation in line with relevant legislation and best practice.
The units cover all areas of safeguarding and use scenarios to examine the different types of abuse that an ‘at risk’ person can suffer, plus what actions you can take.
On completion of the units, the learner can access an online assessment which is designed to demonstrate thorough understanding of the contents.
Those that score 80% or more in the assessment can download a certificate of achievement and have the option of paying an additional fee for a printed accredited certificate from Gatehouse Awards.
